Support the work of the Carmelites with your donation to the Association of Our Lady of Mount Carmel.

The Carmelites work to bring the good news of Jesus, changing lives in El Salvador with projects that provide clean water, education, health care, and support for children and the elderly.

Our current project, the St. Elias Project, includes a finca (farm plantation) where Carmelites work to grow produce they will sell to fund their work. The finca produces coffee, avocados, papayas, cocoa for chocolate, and pineapples.

As the farm matures, we hope to add many new plants and increase production, making the finca and the new Centro de Capatación (Adult Training Center) of the Carmelites self-supporting.

Your gift of

  • $10 will provide a coffee plant or two pineapple plants
  • $15 will provide a chocolate (cocoa) plant or a papaya plant
  • $20 will provide an avocado plant
